Review and Giveaway: Doggie Doo Drain - Ends 6/18 -Open Worldwide

The Doggie Doo Drain is a product that every dog owner should have. I have 3 dogs, so I'm sure you can only imagine how much poo! (oh yes, by the way, I did  get another dog :) It's a Porkie; named Lacey)

 

The Doggie Doo Drain is such a simple idea, but is one of the best! You know the white thing in your yard? (The Sewer Clean Out) Well all you do is take the lid off of that and screw this on, then your all set to use it!
There is a lid on the Doggie Doo Drain and when it's time to "clean up" all you do is take off the lid, use a shovel and drop the poo in, rinse it with a hose and replace the lid. Thats it!

Think about it, If you are like me then you try to be as "green" as possible, well if you have a dog, then this product is necessary, I would say it is one of the most eco-friendly products pet owners could have right now.
This is why- OK, How many times does your dog poo a day? Mine usually goes 2 times a day, Thats 2 plastic bags a day in a year that is 730 plastic bags.  Now, that is a lot of plastic! Oh, and did you know it takes over 200 years for a plastic bag to decompose?  With the Doggie Doo Drain you'll never have to use a plastic bag for dog poo again. All you need is a shovel, and I'm pretty sure that most people already own a shovel.

 

Also, Did you know that there are over 43.5 MILLION dogs in the US alone? That equals over 10 MILLION TONS of poo a year. About all of that poo ends up in our already over flowing landfills.
And for the Dog Poo that is not picked up with a plastic bag, well.. You know, it's left on the ground.. Which ends up getting washed into our storm drains and getting absorbed into the ground, which can make our water contaminated. I don't know about you, but I sure don't want to drink Doggie Poo!

Thanks to the Doggie Doo Drain we don't have to worry about things like that anymore. Now, our dogs poo goes right in with ours, and ends up where it belongs! If you are eco-friendly "green" then I really recommend looking into a Doggy Doo Drain for yourself.
