Review: Greener Pup XL dog bed.

Greener Pup is awesome!

For my review from Greener Pup I received this awesome extra large dog bed for Wilbur and  Necco. I could not believe how big this bed was.I kid you not, I could have slept on this bed.

When I first received it, it was in a huge box.The box that it came in was actually  bulging.I had no idea what was inside, but I couldn't wait to find out.So right after I got it I cut it open and then I saw that it was the dog bed. I had no idea how big this bed was because it was actually vacuum packed. So without knowing, I cut open the plastic that was around the bed and  WHAM!  The bed started to expand.I literally had no room on my bedroom floor after it was done expanding.

I was really excited to let the dogs use it!
So I attempted to pick it up and take out to the living room. I know it sounds easy but really this dog bed was extremely heavy. I actually had to use all of my strength in both hands to carry this thing out to the living room.

As soon as I took it out there, I could tell that the dogs were intrigued. You know, dogs like big and fluffy things, and let me tell you, this is the biggest and the fluffiest. I plopped it onto the floor  and both dogs immediately went for it. Wilbur is the alpha dog, so of course he got to try it out first (after a small and annoying dog fight (nothing serious of course).) Necco gets to lay on it too, but it seems Wilbur always has first go.

This bed is never empty; it's either one or the other on it. I can tell you, that this bed is well used in this household. Even I have had the luxury of sitting on it.

My favorite part about the bed is that it actually has a zippered cover. Not only can you wash the cover but you can also change it out if you buy another one.And there are many different covers to choose from.

A few of my favorites are:
Olive Grove:
Talia Teal:
and Cardinal:
However, I do like the Earth cover too, because every time I see it, I think  "Hey, my dogs are on top of the world!"

As you can tell, both I and my dogs love Greener Pup dog beds. But my favorite part about Greener Pup is that 100% of their proceeds go towards . Ace or Hearts Dogs is amazing. What they do is go to various LA Shelters and take dogs that are to be euthanized that day. They then find them loving homes. Ace of Hearts Dogs rescues all dogs; They do not discriminate agaisnt any breed. Since I have 2 "bully" dogs that is especially important to me.

I really recommend checking out the Ace of Hearts Dogs website. There are some truly touching stories to read about. I have visited the site several times, and not one time could I leave the site without shedding a tear.

If you are looking to adopt a dog, and really want to help a dog in need (and save a life!!!), then check Ace of Hearts first! You never know!

Still not convinced that Greener Pup is amazing? Well even Jessica Alba uses Greener Pup Dog Beds for her 2 rescued dogs; Sid and Bowie.( Doesn't her white dog Bowie, look just like Wilbur? aww! :) )

Overall I was very impressed with Greener Pup. They have the highest quality beds, and I would recommend them to anybody. If you love helping dogs, and you have dogs, then please consider Greener Pup. Remember, 100% of their proceeds go to Ace of Hearts.

PS: sorry for any mistakes in the post. I am using the Dragon program. I did my best to catch them all, but may have missed a few.

  1. Thank you for this great review! We're looking for a new bed for our newly adopted poodle Lulu, so this very helpful. Wilbur and Necco look very, very comfortable! And relaxed. Also, look forward to hearing how you like Dragon - I've used it too!

  2. I would love a bed like this for my dog...anything to keep her off the couch. I like that the cover zips off and can be washed. Thanks for the review.

  3. What an awesome doggie bed! We can never find a big one like that and I love the world print too!

  4. what a great review Amanda. Holy Cow that is a HUGE dog bed!!!!
I have the tiniest little puppy and is not even 5 lbs. I had to laugh when I thought about him being "on top of the world" in that big bed. What a sweet and amazing site and a great name for it! I didnt read the stories yet...I would probably cry my eyes out!
