Nutrisystem! (I'm a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger!) Week 1

When I first made my post, that I was joining in on the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program, I told you that I weighed 197. That was before I had actually started. When I made my post, I was ACCEPTED. My food was to arrive within a week. Before the food actually arrived, I engulfed myself with food. I knew that for the next 4 months, I would be unable to eat fast food, and other junk, so I took that last week and really just.. ate. By the time my food got here, I was at 205. I don't know how I did it, but within a week I had gained about 8 pounds. WOW. Not my proudest week.

Anyways, when my food got here, I was very excited! A little nervous, but excited! I couldn't believe how much food I had! It all arrived in a giant box, and I was having a hay day (where does that saying come from?? Hay Day?? It sounds right, but looks weird lol) going through it all. So I started the day after receiving it. I'm not going to lie; The first day, I did struggle a little bit. I had spent that previous week eating everything in site, so, I was very very hungry. I did it though! By the second day, it was much easier!

This is what I ate my third day into the program:
Breakfast- The Apple Strudel Bar:
Plus for breakfast, it is recommended to have a dairy/protein and a fruit. So I also had a fat free cup of yogurt, and a small apple.

(In between lunch, I was also allowed to have a snack (which consists of  a Dairy or Protein) so I had a 1/2 cup of tofu)

Then for lunch I had the Margherita Pizza: (I absolutley loved this! So delicious and flavorful! There were small like "bursts" of cheese, and they just melted in your mouth!)

(In between lunch and dinner, I was also able to have a afternoon snack (which consists of a  Dairy/Protein, as well as a fruit)

For Dinner I had the Vegetarian Chili. I'm not going to lie, it was definitley not one of my favorites; It had a chalky texture, and to me, the flavor was just bland, and not ejnoyable. (I've had many other dinners, that were absolutley delicious though!)

And then after dinner I was able to have dessert.
For dessert I had the Honey Mustard Pretzels. Delicious! Loved em!
Overall, my first week went pretty good! I've been getting semi-bad headaches, because I am dealing with the loss of my caffeine. Now that I've been on the diet for a week, the headaches are starting to subside, so it's going really good. I got on the scale, this morning, and I am down to 183. So with my first week, I am already down 4 lbs! Yay! :)

I think the next 4 3/4 months are going to be pretty easy. I'm pretty confident about reaching my weight loss goals!

I am very impressed with the foods I have received! Most of them are delicious! There are a few that I won't be ordering again, but the majority of it, is excellent!

If you, or someone you know is trying to lost weight, a healthy, safe and delicious way; then you've got to check out Nutrisystem!
