Well, this wasn't the best week for me on Nutrisystem. But I'm not too surprised. I mean, last week I had such an amazing week, and if your like me, then I'm sure you know how weight loss works. 1 week you do amazingly great and the next.. not so great.. Thats what happened to me. I didn't gain or anything, but I only lost .8 lbs. I am still happy with that though! I mean, .8lbs is better then nothing, right?
Also, like I said I haven't been feeling great either. My grandma is the type of woman that tries to force things down you when your sick. So I wasn't completely following the diet this week. the first few days of the week I was, but I started feeling sick on Saturday, and when I told grandma, she started bringing in soups and broths, and other flavorful treats. I also didn't get much opportunity to exercise either. But I'm sure that next week will be great!
Here was my favorite day of food this week:
This was my 4 meals of the day for 2/25-
Breakfast: The Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal:
The oatmeal was delicious! I loved it, and will for sure order it again! Very flavorful, and maybe even better then average store bought oatmeal!
I also had the "extras" which include a dairy/protein and a fruit. My extras for breakfast were an 8oz glass of fat free milk, and 3/4 cup of blueberries.
Lunch: The Creamy Tomato Soup
Surprisingly delicious! I really didn't think I'd care for the tomato soup too much, because, well.. I just don't like tomatoes. But the soup was so creamy.. I really enjoyed it!
I also had the "extras" which included a dairy and 2 veggies.
I had a scrambled egg, unlimited celery, and 1/2 cup of cooked kale.
Dinner: The Vegetable Lasagna with Basil Tomato Sauce.
I accidentally overcooked mine(it wasn't too bad, but the top layer of pasta was hard, and inedible) , but the inside (the part that wasn't burnt) was so yummy! The only small thing I didn't care for, is that there seemed to be a little too much sauce. I thought it kindof took away from the inside flavors.
I also had the "extras" which included a fruit/veggie, 2 vegetables and a fat.
So I had a small apple, 1/2 cup of cooked spaghetti squash, unlimited radishes and 4 pecan halves.
Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookie:
Very delicious! It was soft and chewy, and totally enjoyable! Loved it!
Even though my week didn't go superbly, I am still very focused, and I know that next week will be way better! :) Until then..

Well, I would be HAPPY to lose .8 pounds, LOL. The important thing is that you don't let the disappointment make you want to give up on the diet entirely, you know?
