The 1870 Steak Sauce is definitely one of my favorite products from Tavern Direct!
The flavors are AMAZING! It is flavored with tangy tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and worcestershire mingle with onion, garlic and a splash of lemon/lime.
The flavor is almost impossible to describe. It has a tang (Not hot) but a tangy little taste to it, that makes it so interesting. When I first tasted it, the first thing I tasted was the little zing, but after the initial taste, you start getting the little bursts of flavor. It's sweet, tangy, and delicious!
I didn't bake anything with it, but I did use this as a sauce on some Asian Beef. The Asian Beef mixed with the 1870 Steak Sauce was perfect together.
I will definitely be using the Tavern Direct 1870 Steak Sauce for a long time. It's $9.95 a bottle.. But it is worth every singly penny. You'd better believe that when it's gone, I'll be scraping ever last drop I can get!
Don't forget- When you shop at Tavern Direct a donation will be made toward the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. For instance, when you purchase a bottle of the 1870 Steak Sauce, $0.50 will be donated to the NCMEC.
