The Dates..

I just wanted to update everyone..

Today we went and took care of some stuff.. The funeral showing/viewing will be on  Friday.. From 2-5, and on Wednesday we will have the mass for him.. and we will also bury his ashes in the church cemetery.

It was decided.. That I should be the one who places his ashes in... It's going to be really hard.. But I think he would have liked that.

I want to update more ASAP, but right now I'm still feeling a little down. I'll post when I can.

My Grandpa Just Passed Away..

Just a little while ago my grandpa passed on..

I'm sorry.. I'm really at a loss for words... Lots of crying and prayers going on over here..

Grandpa is coming home.. Hospice is coming in

Hey everyone.

Thanks for bearing through this with me. I am so sorry for the lack of posts. I will have a few reviews and giveaways up for you as soon as I can. Things have been so hectic over here that I haven't even had time to check any emails.

I just wanted to let you all know that grandpa is supposed to come home tonight. Their supposed to do a procedure on his right lung tomorrow to get the rest of the fluids out.(They did the left lung 2 days ago, and they removed over a quart of liquid) so as long as todays procedure goes well, he should be home tonight.


I went up last night to see grandpa, and I had one of the most surreal moments. The chair that I normally sit in was taken (my aunt drove down to see him) and so I got to sit on the nurses stool, right beside my grandpa's bed. He put his hand out, and I got to hold his hand for about 10 minutes. IT's 10 minutes that I will never ever forget. That brief time was just so precious to me.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about Hospice coming in, but you have all assured me that Hospice is amazing, and I'm really excited to meet them. Today they'll be coming by around noon to bring in a hospital bed, and everything else he needs. Grandpa is a little skeptical, but I assured him they'll be great.

Thing's aren't looking very good for Grandpa..

Hey everyone...

I just wanted to give you all an update on grandpa.
Last week grandpa went to the Doctor and found out he had fluid in his lungs...  and they told him the fluid was so thick that they wouldn't be able to do anything for it.
Well yesterday morning grandpa was unable to breathe, so grandma rushed him to the hospital, and he's been there since.

Well when they were in the waiting room, I guess grandpa drank some coffee, and he started choking really really bad, and they didn't even think he was going to make it through that.. Thankfully he did.

So once he got his own room, a few hours later they had a lung specialist come in to check him out. Well, it turns out that his lungs weren't the reason he couldn't breathe. It turns out that it's his heart.. :'(
So tomorrow a heart specialist is going to go in to see him, and hopefully he'll be able to do something..

Here's the worst part of the news though...
The Doctor said if they can't do anything.. then it's not looking good.. and he doesn't think grandpa will have much longer.

As you can all imagine.. I want to spend as much time as possible with him..Just incase, so we've been up at the hospital a lot lately.. So I probably won't be on for the next couple of days.. IT all just depends on how things pan out.

I'll keep you all updated.

Feeling a little under the weather..
