Wow! It has been forever since my last Nutrisystem post!
After my grandpa passed away, I had a hard time actually wanting to attempt losing weight.. or exercising.. I just felt numb, like it didn't matter. Then I started thinking.. My grandpa would want me to continue on my weight loss journey. He was so proud of me, and I don't want to let him down!
So last Monday I started up again. I was very afraid to get on the scales.. After having such a long break, I didn't really know what to expect.. But it wasn't that bad. I had a weight gain of 6.2lbs, and my total weight loss is now at -31lbs. Still a lot to be proud of.. And Grandpa don't worry! I am going to continue on my Nutrisystem Journey, and I am going to make you proud!
Here were my favorite meals of the week:
The Southern-Style Biscuits and Gravy
I love Nutrisystem's biscuits and gravy! They are so fun to make, and they are delicious!
Lunch:
The Cheesy HomeStyle Potatoes
These potatoes are so good! I am a sucker for anything cheesy, and I would eat them any day :)
Dinner:
The Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza:
Yum! I love pizza, especially Italian Herb! Delicious as always :)
Dessert:
The Almond Biscotti:
The Almost Biscotti is literally to die for! I could eat like 10! I love them!
I am glad to be back on my Nutrisystem Journey, and I can't wait until next week :)

It's hard when you loss someone you love to keep losing when you're dealing with grief, stress and all kinds of emotions. I know when my Dad died in 2007 I had lost almost 80lbs but the pain was too much to deal with, having a toddler and moving away from family so I gained it all back but finally from 2010 to now have lost 85+lbs.
ReplyDeleteI think your Grandpa will always be proud of you! From all I've read on your blog he was a good man and loved you dearly. Good luck, you're doing great!!! :)
