Rafflecopter, or No?

Hey everyone.

I just wanted to do a quick poll with all of you.

I love getting your input, and I wanted to check with all of you before making any changes.

Would you all prefer Rafflecopter entries into giveaways, or would you like to keep it with commenting for entries?

Please leave a comment with your choice (Or you can email me if you'd like :) )

  1. I'm not that fond of it, but that's just me.

  3. I love Rafflecopter. It makes entering much faster and easier than doing comments.

  4. I know some people complain about Rafflecopter (mostly about the loading time) but I think it's SO much easier than leaving comments for everything. I only ever enter giveaways using Rafflecopter these days. It takes too much time to leave a million comments!

  5. Rafflecopter with me too...my life has been made soo much easier with it...though I dislike when it resets itself and it looks as if you haven't entered yet...that worries me...but its the only fault I have with it...I'd rather wait for load times than have to manually enter everything in AND some folks have them annoying CAPTCHA's...which is TWICE as long...so keep the r'copter s'il vous plait~!! Grooviness to you and yours...xoxo

  6. I enjoy entering giveaways with rafflecopter makes it so much easier and quicker and gives me more time with my kids. I enter for them so if I can enter quick and be done the better :)

  7. I agree with every one; Rafflecopter is so much faster, it has all the links you need like following on twitter without pulling up a lot of windows and is so much easier with extra entries. :)

  8. I love Rafflecopter and am more likely to enter for things I might not ordinarily take the time to enter for. So, Yes!

  10. I like the rafflecopter as long as the instructions are clear on the mandatory entry-in a blog post or on the extra information?

  11. Yes to Rafflecopter!! It makes my hobby of entering giveaways so much easier and, now that I have used it, so much more enjoyable.

  12. Rafflecopter makes it much more easier and less time consuming to enter which is fantastic. The down side---I realized I am seeing an outrageous number of entries in giveaways now. It's much harder for me to win as often as i used to. Like the blogs that would normally have around 300-500 entries per giveaway now have around 2000-3000. Much lower odds!

  14. I use Rafflecopter on my own blog, and I LOVE it. As a matter of fact, I ONLY enter giveaways that offer it now because I don't have time with 3 kids and my own site to leave a zillion comments. The owner and customer service are VERY quick to help, too, which is something I really appreciate. It's so much easier for the blogger as well as the people entering. I say GO FOR IT! If you need an invite, let me know. I have a few!

  15. I love rafflecopter for as it is easy, fast and you can see the status of people entering the giveaway and who the winner is. I now only enter rafflecopter giveaways unless it is something I really, really want. I think that you should go for it.

  16. i like rafflecopter with a mandatory blog post comment, because i can easily scroll down and see if i already entered

  17. I love rafflecopter and the days I have work its pretty much the only way I enter giveaways - I don't have much time to leave a bunch of comments. I save those giveaways w/o rafflecopter for a day I am off

  18. Absolutely! I will only enter giveaways these days that are Rafflecopter because of time- unless it's something REALLY GOOD that I really want.

  19. I don't like rc. I don't enter rc contests.

For more reasons on why I don't like rc sweeps, (yes, there are valid, non-emotional reasons), please go here:

  20. ...as long as starting and ending dates/times are clearly displayed for each giveaway then I really don't have a preference.

Google forms are another option btw.

    Thanks for blogging...

  23. My vote would be rafflecopter also. I did not think I would enjoy it as much as I do, they say it is also so much easier for the owners of the blogs.

  28. I love rafflecopter. I will just go around the house saying, "rafflercopter, rafflecopter, rafflecopter". Is it sad that my 9 and 11 year old know my opinion on it also.

  29. My vote would be rafflecopter, it really helps when I second guess myself like, follow etc. However it would be nice if there was a way to know if you had finished the entries. I've noticed on some rafflecopter that shows up as to do the next day. Thanks for asking.

  30. Rafflecopter takes ages to load, Google forms is better!

  31. I know I'm in the minority but I don't like Rafflecopter. I still enter giveaways using it though.

  32. Rafflecopter all the way!!!!!!!

It still has quirks, but I luv it anyway!

  33. I know almost exclusively enter giveaways that are rafflecopter. It is much easier and requires less typing.

  34. I don't mind the concept of Rafflecopter. Here's what I don't like:
It takes a long time to load. Sometimes, when you have to make a comment to fulfill the requirement, the page will reload, meaning you have to wait on Rafflecopter again.
I feel like, at least half the time, the first time I click the button, it'll tell me to please try again. Sometimes I have to try multiple times to get the entry to go through.
Other than those issues, it's a pretty simple way to enter.
