So we were extremely excited to try Mighty Leaf Tea! We received 4 different iced tea flavors, and 3 Artisan's Choice Sample Packs.
The Artisan Choice Sample packs are great. They come with 3 delicious flavors, including: Orange Dulce, Green Tea Tropical, and Chamomile Citrus.
I have to say, all of the 3 flavors were great.. But the Orange Dulce was to die for! On the back of the pack, it is described as a "lusciously rich dessert." I didn't give it enough credit before trying it, but after my first taste.. That was an absolutely perfect description. The Orange Dulce is better than dessert.. Not only does it taste sweet, and delicious, like a dessert; But it's healthy! Skip the dessert, and go for a cup of this amazing tea! The Artisan's Choice Sample Packs are available for only $2.95.. and they are so worth it! (Great stocking stuffer's for the tea lover in your life!)
Besides the delicious Artisan's Choice Sampler, we also received 4 Iced Tea Flavors, including: Organic Black, Sunburst Green Tea, Calypso Mango, and Ginger Peach.
My favorite of the 4 was the Calypso Mango.
The Calypso Mango was extremely sweet, and extremely refreshing. I know it may be snowing up north, but down here in Bonita Springs, Florida, it is in the 80's right now. So we're still sweating, and it is so refreshing to be able to go outside with a cup of ice cold tea!
My grandma's favorite was the Sunburst Green Tea:
The Sunburst Green Tea is ripened with oranges, and sweet citrus. I enjoyed this one too - But my grandma wouldn't stop raving about it. Not only did it taste great, but it was also light on caffeine too. My grandma has cut almost all caffeine out of her diet for the past 20 years, so low caffeine was extremely important to her!
We both also loved the Ginger Peach.
I was extremely surprised that my grandma enjoyed this (She couldn't drink much, because this flavor has caffeine.) My grandma hates ginger, with a passion. She at first, even refused to try a sip of the Ginger Peach. Not being a huge fan of ginger myself, I assured her that it wasn't the overly strong ginger like you find in packages of sushi. So with hesitance, she gave it a sip. "Not Bad," She said. So that's high praise coming from her. I also enjoyed the sweet taste.
And the final flavor, was the Organic Black:
Another great flavor! What amazes me about this blend in particular, is that the tea leaves inside, are actually hand-picked on the slopes of the Nilgiri Mountains. I find it awesome that I am actually drinking something so exotic! The tea itself was a little rich, and strong; But with an adapted taste, I'm sure it would be an all time favorite!
Now my favorite thing about these Iced Teas is how easy they are to brew. Each of the packs I just previously described, come with 4 1/2 gallon whole leaf pouches. So one box makes 2 whole gallons! Now that's a lot of delicious tea! I also love the pouches; They are like a thin mesh - So you don't have to worry about the tea bag breaking open.
On each box, there is also an easy to follow "Brew Guide;" Which can come in handy, if you are new to the tea world :)!
Simple!
Overall, we absolutely loved Mighty Leaf Tea! The flavors were delicious, and refreshing. These teas would make great gifts for any tea lover.. And they would also make great additions for gift baskets!

I just wanted to say hello & let you know that I've really been enjoying following your blog since I found it a couple of wks ago. I had back surgery on Oct. 29th for a herniated disc in my spine & am on bed rest until the middle of December still :( BORING! I have a hubby & a 2 1/2 yr old son that usually keep me very busy. Since I can't lift or chase my son around, we had to get him into pre-school while my husband is at work. That means I'm home all day, laid up on the couch or the bed & have had tons of time (too much!) to scour the net. Thanks for all the work you put in! I love reading your reviews b/c you're animated & they hold my interest. I was sorry to read your story the other week via Google reader about playing the game in the yard with the little ones & how the little baby rat got stepped on & passed. So sad! I hope you're feeling better :)
ReplyDeleteHi Chevelle :),
ReplyDeleteThanks so much - I'm glad you like visiting :)
I am so sorry to hear about your surgery, I hope your not in too much pain, and I hope you have a really speedy recovery.
I'm feeling much better after losing the little baby rat. I still think of her often, but I know she's in a better place; hopefully with my grandpa ^.^.
I like the green tea
