ABBA: You Can Dance - House Party!

We had an absolute blast playing the ABBA: You Can Dance game for Wii! We had a fun little gathering at our house, and it was just incredible!

The party was perfectly themed - It was like a blast to the past! I invited my little neighbors over (The kids that I babysit) and then we put on the game, turned out the lights, turned on the disco ball, ate snacks, and played for almost 2 hours straight! The kids had SO much fun ( I wish I could share pictures of the kids playing, but their mom preferred that I not share their pictures online)

We actually had a really old lava lamp (It was my grandpa's) and we had that going too. For a while, it literally felt like we were in the 70's!

The game itself was really fun. There are 3 different modes to choose from; Dance Mode, Mini-Musical, and Karaoke Mode. We've only played Dance Mode so far, but I hope to soon try some of the other modes too!
To play, all you have to do is hold the Wii remote in your hand, and try to follow the moves of your dancer.. I wasn't very good at first, but the kids really got the rhythm down quickly! The songs you dance to, are of course from ABBA. The kids had heard a few of the songs, and quickly started learning the others too. They seemed to thoroughly enjoy all of the songs, and dancing to them.
Here is a short video of them playing during one of the songs

I also played with my mom, grandma, and Aaron.
Here is a short video of my mom, grandma and Aaron playing -
(sorry - I have a bunch of Christmas presents in the corner of my room, and "covered" them up, lol - So my room looks like a complete mess):

And here are some pictures of them bustin' out some moves! :)

My mom, and grandma are both huge ABBA fans. I have to admit, they weren't very good at dancing, or following the moves, lol. But they really enjoyed themselves, and were singing out loud most of the time.

We had more than 10 dozen cookies, lots of chips, lots of pop, and lots of FUN! We absolutely loved ABBA: You Can Dance.. And I hope to invite the kids over again to play, really soon!

I would recommend ABBA: You Can Dance to anyone! It's a fun interactive game.. So you keep you, and your family healthy while playing too! ABBA: You Can Dance for Wii is available online on Amazon.com and Toysrus.com
