My Aunt Loretta Just Passed Away... RIP

Today around 3:40 we got a call from my Aunt Doretta, and we found out that my Great Aunt Loretta passed away. She was 96 years old.

She was such an amazing woman, and she did so much in her lifetime! She used to be an opera singer, and she had the pleasure if singing with Pavarotti, and so many other greats.

I know now that she will be up there with grandpa. They were so close, and my grandma thinks it just tore apart my Aunt Loretta after grandpa passed away. I am so thankful that I was able to see her while grandpa was still here. When I was younger we used to go up to her home in New Jersey and spend weeks with her, and I have so many fond memories up there.

I am so sad and heartbroken to hear about this.. But I am also taking comfort in knowing now she can see grandpa again :).

While she was here visiting grandpa she gave me an amazing necklace with a beautiful angel on it, and now I will be wearing it every day, in remembrance, along with the necklace with the part of grandpa's wedding ring. They will both be with me every day :)

We love you so much, Aunt Loretta, and we will miss you!
