BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette Review and Giveaway - 1 Winner - Open Worldwide - Ends 5/21

In all honesty, I don't wear makeup very often. Well, I do wear the basic mascara most of the time, and occasionally a light eye shadow, but I never really go full out. It's not that I don't want to - It's that I feel embarrassed.

Growing up, I was a complete tom-boy. I never had many girl friends, and to be honest, I never really learned how to properly put on make-up. In middle school, is when all of the girls really started getting in to wearing eye shadows, and lip glosses, and I of course wanted to fit in. So one day, I tried it. I put on eye-shadow one morning, and off I went to school.  1st period that day, is a day that still haunts me. This boy completely made fun of me. He told me I looked like a clown, and he said I had no idea what I was doing.
Ever since that day, I have been mortified to wear bright colors on my face, at the fear of somebody laughing at me.
With my depression, someone laughing at my face, is the last thing I can handle.

So slowly over the years, I have experimented, and tried new things. I have found that bright colors still embarrass me (Even though I love them, and love to apply them at home, and for pictures!) but neutral colors that go with my skin tone, or flatter my eyes, have been okay. With the right color, even I can see that they flatter me.

So when I was able to get the 5th edition 120 color palette from BH Cosmetics, I was really excited!

  
See, the 5th edition palette features mostly neutral colors, like browns,  golds, lighter pinks and purples - So almost all of the colors, I feel completely comfortable wearing!
I'm not the best at applying the shadows perfectly, but most of the colors are very forgiving since they are neutral, so it all works out :)!

I've been wearing a lot of the browns (which go really nicely with my hazel eyes) and I've even dabbled into the brightest pink, trying to work up my confidence in wearing bolder colors.

 I hope that soon, I'll have the confidence to try the dark, sparkly black, or maybe that beautiful red in there!

A lot of the colors in the palette are absolutely beautiful, and the choices are amazing! 120 colors for under $25 (Only for a short time, while their palettes are on sale!) And the colors actually stay too!
Not only are the colors amazing - But I also really like the case too. It's sleek, and it's almost hard to believe that it contains so many color choices inside. For once, I can have makeup on the counter without my counter top looking cluttered.

Overall, I loved BH Cosmetics. When I finally build up my confidence to wear more brighter colors (which I am constantly working on - I've tried following some of the tutorials on BH Cosmetics YouTube page, which are really helpful!) more often, I will definitely consider one of their brighter eyeshadow palettes, because the prices are definitely hard to beat!
