Thanks to BreathSlim for providing me with a free device to review!
I'm sure as a lot of you might remember, I spent quite some time on Nutrisystem, getting healthier, and learning to be more healthy, overall.
Coming off of something that you are so accustomed to can be really hard, and I did expect to falter a little after coming off, but I wasn't prepared to take 2 vacations, and still follow a diet.
Right after I stopped my diet, I immediately took a trip up North, to see some of my family. During that trip, I gained 7lbs. I came home, and lost 4 of the 7 that I had gained, but then about 2 weeks later, me and Aaron took another trip up North, to see his family. While on that trip, I had gained another 5lbs. I came home, and started feeling like "wow, I can't believe I'm doing this again."
I started looking for products that could help me lose weight, and get back on track, to lose the almost 10lbs that I had gained. While searching around, I stumbled onto a company called BreathSlim.
Prior to visiting the BreathSlim website, I had never heard of a concept like there's. See, BreathSlim is a revolutionary way to lose weight.
It's really simple; By taking notice of your breathing, you can literally, chance your life around.
Most people don't realize it, but just by breathing properly, you can help your body breathe easier, sleep better, and relax more easy.
I don't know if any of you ever have this problem, but when I get overly stressed (Which is sadly, pretty often) and I put in any type of effort or force, I almost immediately become out of breath.
If you learn how to properly control your breathing you can help stop this.
I for one, am a skeptic. I hear of products that sounds too perfect, and I shy away. However, I was really ready to give BreathSlim a try - and I did.
The BreathSlim is really easy to use. You simply attach the pieces, and fill the device with water (to the designated line) and then you breath into it for about 20 minutes (Your first times, you can do it less, and gradually make your way up to 20 minutes) and that's it! Yeah, that's literally, all it takes - It couldn't be more simple.
If you breath too hard though, you can mess up. During my 2nd breath, I released my air too quickly. and I guess pushed my breath out too hard, and the water flew out all over the table, and on me, lol.
But actually, I really like that it does that, because it lets you know whether you are doing it right or not.
During about a 2 week period I lost 4lbs. That also was combined with healthier eating choices, and regular exercising as well. However, I have noticed that my breathing is better - I am able to do more, without getting as out of breath and also, when I swim, I am able to noticeably hold my breath longer.
By learning to breathe right, you are increasing your lung capacity, which helps you hold your breath longer, and stay stronger, which in the long run, also helps keep off excess weight.
The best part about the whole thing? BreathSlim is a one time purchase. You don't have to buy new parts or anything for it after time, and there are also no nasty chemicals involved. It's just the BreathSlim device, and plain ole' water!
If you are looking to better your breathing, and lose weight while doing it, I would suggest giving BreathSlim a try!
You can connect with BreathSlim on there website, and Facebook.

It sounds almost to good to be true. But proper posture and breathing techniques could be very helpful. Thank you for the review.

ReplyDeleteI would really like to try this. Breathing properly is so important.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a new way to lose weight. I can image going up and down in weight has got to be hard on the body. We've just got to find what works for us. THe older I get the harder it is to stay slim..
ReplyDeleteI should look into this after I have the baby - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this. Seems like a great way to lose weight.
ReplyDeleteInteresting concept--I think maybe the fact that you are concentrating on your breathing may make you stop thinking about food--thus you eat less--thus lose weight!! Definitely worth thinking about purchasing!
ReplyDeleteI have always heard to sit and stand up straight so my body could get enough air...also after any surgery you are given a unit to force you to take deep cleansing breaths. I am sure proper breathing would benefit the body in many ways. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletethat is interesting. I wonder how it works long term. Keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great, thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how well it works. Did you lose the weight? I am all for a way that requires less exertion!
ReplyDeleteIt worked well for me. I've noticed how much easier I am breathing, and I've also lost 4lbs with a combination of regular exercising (Minimum swimming, and a bit of walking) as well as following a healthier eating style :)
