Krave Jerky Review and Giveaway - Ends 3/10 - US Only

One thing we've always loved is jerky. There are so many different variations, and it's fun trying it all! I was really excited to work with Krave Jerky, because it was a new brand to me, and  the flavors sounded really new and delicious, from what we're used to.

When the box arrived here, I was excited to open it up and see 5 delicious flavors to try!

The first flavor we tried was the Smoky Grilled Teriyaki.

I was definitely surprised by the flavors of this one. It was extremely sweet. It was a good surprise though - I've never had such a sweet jerky. Since it was so sweet, I was unable to eat a lot in one sitting, which is good, because I am trying to proportion my food intake.

The next one we tried was the Lemon Garlic.

 This one definitely had a stronger taste to it. I could really taste the garlic. I personally, am not a huge fan of garlic. I like a bit of garlic in some things, but there are other things that I feel just shouldn't have garlic in them.  The Lemon Garlic was not my favorite, but Aaron finished up the bag, so it all goes by taste.

The next one was my personal least favorite, the Pineapple Orange.

For some reason, this one just did not work for me. I was actually most excited about this one, because I am a huge pineapple fan - However, I think the two mixtures just weren't there for me. The texture of the jerky was also a little too rough for me, and I found it hard to chew. Someone in the house ended up finishing the bag, but I personally, wouldn't recommend this one.

The new one was the Garlic Chili Pepper.

 I know I said I wasn't a huge fan of garlic - Which is true, but when paired certain ways, it's like you don't even notice it. The Garlic Chili Pepper Jerky was AWESOME! I seriously am in love with this flavor. The very first bite, I wasn't sure, but as soon as I swallowed, and then took another bite, I knew it was the one. I don't think anybody else got any of that flavor, because I hid it for me!  Lately I've been on this spicy food kick, and this had the perfect spiciness to it. It wasn't over powering, it was just perfect. Highly, highly recommended!

And the final flavor was the Chili Lime.

This was another favorite of my. I loved the spice, and the texture. Another flavor that I hid away for myself  >:).

Overall, I was impressed with Krave jerky, and I will definitely be purchasing it in the future (especially considering that I've seen it at a few local retailers already!)
