Olay Fresh Effects Review

I have always had problems with my skin. When I was 17-18 I would constantly get break outs, and even now, at 22, I am still constantly getting them (Not quite as bad at least!)

I've tried all sorts of products, but have never been able to find one that just works great for me. And in fact, a lot of products that I've used in the past, have only made me break out worse, and dry out my skin. That's why usually, I am very very picky about what skin care products to use. I am however, willing to give things a shot, especially with the chance that, this could be the product that ends my break outs!

I received a fun little vanity set filled with Olay Fresh Effects goodies to review.

The Fresh Effects, included:

I thoroughly read all of the product labels to see the different benefits, and was extremely excited to give them a shot.

I'm not the biggest on wearing make-up, but when I do, I know how important it is to clean my skin well afterward. I've found in the past, that days I don't scrub my face as well, I tend to get break outs within a day or two afterward. 
Now that I've been working, I've been dressing up a bit more, and I've needed to really get deep down in my pores, after a long hard day. I've found since using the Olay Fresh Effects "Shine, Shine Go Away" that my skin has much less break out, and I honestly feel so refreshed after using it. It's a cleanser, and I've been using it faithfully, every day that I apply make-up. I tend to have oily skin, and I've also noticed a reduction in how oily I'm getting.  The Shine, Shine, Go Away has almost a "marble" like finish to it, and I just love the way it feels on my skin. It makes my face super soft as well, which is a huge plus :).

One of my absolute favorites of the Fresh Effects line was definitely the "Bead Me Up." I love exfoliating cleansers, with the little beads. It's a little rough on the skin with the beads, but definitely worth it! After you rub it away, your skin feels so naked, and clean. I get so sweaty during the day, but no matter what, at the end of the night, after using "Bead Me Up" I feel clean, and rejuvenated!  

The "Swipe Out" make up removal cloths did wonders, and easily remove your make-up. I tend to use a ton of mascara, because I have very short lashes, and want them to stand out more, and the wipes definitely did there job well!
 

The BB Cream, was awesome! I have seriously used a moisturizer, maybe.. 1 or 2 times in the past. I never found one that I was drawn too, and just never saw the point.
After using the BB Cream, I now know what I was missing out on. First off, my skin looks amazing! It gives me this amazing glow, that I never dreamt of having. My skin feels really soft after use, and the very best part? It's got sun block included in it! Living in Florida, I am constantly in the sun, and I know just how important it is to always wear sun block, to help protect myself from the harmful rays. This is most definitely a product that I will be purchasing in the future. 

The Long Live Moisture was the only product I wasn't overjoyed with. I liked how cool it made my skin feel, and it felt really soft, but I did find that the product seemed a bit "shiny" and I just wasn't a big fan of the finish it had on my skin. Like I said, I have semi-oily skin, and I just didn't feel like it was a great product for me, personally.

And finally, the Va-Va-Vivid.

This little tool, is pretty awesome. It's designed to fit all of the contours of your face, to give you a "Mini facial" that you're sure to love. First off, the bristles are super soft, and feel so nice on your face. Once you add your battery, and it's powered up, you really feel the power this has. It's not too powerful, but it's just perfect for your face. When you're using it, you can truly feel your face been exfoliated and cleaned (Especially when combined with the "Bead Me Up." My face felt better then ever, and I would highly recommend this one!

Overall, I was pretty impressed with Olay Fresh Effects. Enough so, that I've gotten at least 2 people to try out the BB cream (I was able to get them both some with the Walmart gift card I was provided.) My skin has been noticeably clearer, and I have really just felt like I've had a little mini makeover. I've suffered from break outs for so long, and while I do get an occasional  pimple, it's nice to have some relief, from having it all over my face.
