CanvasChamp Review : How we are Capturing our Memories

Disclosure: I received a free canvas print in exchange for this review.

One thing I am really bad about doing, is capturing memories. I have never really been big on taking candid photos.. So even though Aaron and I have been together for 8 years, we probably only have a good handful of 5 or 10 nice photos of us together.

When we recently went to North Carolina on vacation, we went and saw his parents and his brothers. It was actually the first time all of his family has been together in over 5 years, so they wanted to do something special. We all got professional photographs taken - It was so fun, and the photos were so beautiful. It made me realize just how little we have, when it comes to memories.

So the few pictures I did have already, I realized I wanted to turn them into something more, so we can appreciate the few ones we do have, even more.

Aaron and I went to St. Thomas a couple years ago, when I won a trip there. It was our first real vacation, and our first time staying somewhere away from family, together.  It was just us, so most of our photos were of just scenery, but we did have 2 occasions, where we were around other tourists, and they offered to capture a photo of us.

This is the original photo:

And this is the canvas print I received from Canvas Champ:

As you can see, the photo is extremely clear. It looks just like the photo we originally took, only it's real, and here, in our house. I can think of at least 2 occasions when we had our old pictures saved on our computer, and then the computer fried, or died, and we lost all of our photos and memories with it.

I love that with CanvasChamp, we can take the few photos we do have, and turn them into a high quality treasure that we will have for the rest of our lives. I am going to definitely be getting more canvas prints in the future. I am thinking one of my grandpa would be an amazing gift for my family this Christmas.

    1. Thanks Eileen : )

I am really happy you stopped by - I've been pretty absent lately as well, and I am just now trying to stay around, with season gone.

  2. It's a beautiful photo! My older son's are too shy. I've tried to capture moments but it's quite hard to do. For now, I have to concentrate on my 3 years old daughter. I can catch her on her precious moments. Wish I could capture more moments.

  4. Oooh, I like this and I hope they can ship here in PH coz I don't think we have that kind of service- product- here yet. I've seen homes and rooms in magazines using artwork or photos on canvass & they always make gorgeous, timeless pieces for a home. I just checked the site for the rates and I think they're pretty good.

  6. Wow the canvas looks really nice! I've had a few canvases made where the quality is pretty blurry which is a huge bummer because I paid a decent amount for them. I'll definitely keep canvas champ in mind in the future their prints look to be really high quality.

  9. We always use Photoshop to edit our photos and give more visual effects. This is also a good alternative.

  13. Me on the other hand I'm a hoarder for pictures. I have that many that I need a week to get into organization mode. I'd like to print some to have ready as conversation piece I guess.

But I also discover the power of 'back up hard drives and cloud". Because not only the computer can be broken, it could be stolen too.

  29. That was a very nice canvas printed Photo and just right in time, I am wanting to have a large family portrait on our living room and instead of paying an expensive painter I think it is practical enough to just make a canvas printed photo now a days.
