One thing I keep hearing from friends, is things like: "Sleep in while you can." and "Enjoy it while you can." I think almost every single person I know with a baby or child has said something along those lines to me.
I know sleepless nights obviously come with having a baby, and I am preparing for those sleepless nights, and a lot of woken sleep. But I've also been doing a lot of reading, to prepare. I know sometimes there's nothing you can do, but things are worth trying right?
That's why after reading up a little bit, and discovering the "Baby Shusher," I knew I had to try one out.
Obviously my little girl isn't here yet, but I've ready some pretty rave reviews. You can clearly hear the "shush" noise that the shusher makes, which is designed to soothe, and calm your baby. Plus, it's so simple to use! You just change to settings (to 15 or 30 minutes) and it just starts shushing away - Nothing else required.
The Baby Shusher is actually a pretty new gadget that's available - It uses an ancient (but doctor tested) technique, that is meant to help soothe your baby. It is said that the shushing noise actually mimics sounds from inside the womb, which helps trigger your babies natural calming reflex.
I am extremely excited to try the Baby Shusher out, once she arrives. I am really hopeful, and excited, to see how it works, with baby. I read several other peoples stories, and it seems like the Baby Shusher might end up being a secret gadget that I am going to cherish like gold. We'll see!

So exactly how does it work and what does it really do? I've never heard about it until now though.
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy. You just change the dial to the correct settings, and then it just starts "shushing." It's pretty neat, and yet so simple. I can't wait to actually try it with my baby!
DeleteWhile I don't have kids yet, I also often hear the "sleep while you can" from family friends who have kids. This seems like a great product for both parent and baby <3
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of the babyshusher before! How interesting! It seems to work based on your review! I will be sharing this with friends who can benefit from this too!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like it would be really a soothing thing for a baby. My kids are older, but I will eventually have grandkids lol.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an awesome product - anything to help new families get some sleep has to be a happy thing! Life is so much more manageable for everyone with a well-rested group calling the shots!
ReplyDeleteI wish this thing would have been around when my kids were small. This would make a great baby shower gift.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a really cool device. I like that you can set the sounds on a timer!
ReplyDeleteA baby shusher? People these days are so clever and creative with their inventions. I hear the same thing all the time from people with little ones. Hopefully they'll buy this product and get the zzzzs that they want.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a baby but I can use this as I find it hard to fall asleep lol. Sounds like a wonderful thing to have!
ReplyDeleteWow - this is super cool! I'll have to share this with my friends who have kids. I'm sure they'll love it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this until now. My cousin is giving birth by the end of this year. I will share this to her.
ReplyDeleteI have never hear about this babyshusher but it seems was a great product. i need this to my baby boy babyshusher it has a great and nice review for this thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative product, I wish this was around when my now 10 year old was a baby. He didn't sleep all night until after his 1st birthday. I would have paid top dollar for this one.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting. The best way to get my babies to sleep was laying on me. I think the whole nursing and hearing my heartbeat was an instant soother. My mom always told me to sleep when the baby sleeps. Best piece of advice I ever got because you will regret it if you don't. No one can be prepared for the lack of sleep that comes with a new baby.
ReplyDeleteSo it just makes a 'shhhh' noise to sooth the baby? I've never heard of anything like this before. Luckily my boy was and still is a great sleeper *touch wood*!
ReplyDeleteI will def remember this when I am blessed with a baby! Whatever works, right? Congrats on your soon to be baby girl!
ReplyDeleteSeems like this is so handy and pretty interesting to use as well.
ReplyDeleteit is true, every new parent's woe is being sleep-deprived. this is an exciting new product, should really come handy for those times when the little bundle of joy simply refuses to go to sleep.
