Time is passing by so fast, and I have less then 1 month until my precious little girl is here! I seriously can't believe it - And it has pushed not only me, but my entire family into high gear.
October 11th we had my baby shower, which is when we got our crib. All we have left to do, besides getting the crib all set up, is paint - So other then that, we're starting to focus on the small details, like night lights, and the small features, that just tie it all together.
One thing we've really been trying to stick with, is an animal theme. If you know me at all, you know I have a huge passion for animals, and I just want her growing up, loving them as much as me.
So, when I saw the "Les Amis" collection from Kaloo - I had to pick something from it!
We wanted to go with something a little bit different, so we ended up going with the adorable Donkey.
Isn't it adorable? This guy is 45 centimeters tall, and what I love about him the most, is that he's safe to be around baby when she is first born, but because it's so big, our little girl can grow up with him.
I know when I was young, I always had that one special toy, that I ALWAYS had to have with me, and I'm thinking this donkey, might just be hers. But we'll see!
He's extra soft, and just too cute! Either way, it's going to look adorable in her room.
I just love Kaloo's different collections. They have all different types of toys. From cute and cuddly, to interactive, and all are reasonably priced. I would definitely love to add another piece to our collection of stuff for our baby girl.

When I was little I had a special stuffed animal I brought everywhere too. I'm sure your little girl will love this donkey. I know you (and the donkey) can't wait to finally meet her next month <3

ReplyDeleteHow adorable! When my youngest daughter was little, she had a stuffed animal that she took with her everywhere. Once, on a road trip, she accidentally left it at a Fast Food restaurant. We didn't realize it until we were hours on down the road. I called and the manager shipped it to me overnight and wouldn't let me pay him for the postage.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable. Every child needs that one special toy, especially their first toy. The softer they are the better.
