Are you still searching for the perfect Halloween costume idea? If so, you may love this post. Keep reading, for some serious inspiration.
Recently, I was given the chance to review the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gift Set, which included a collectible Metal Turtle Truck Lunchbox, a 2 double-sided Ninja Masks, and the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blu-Ray combo pack, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Blu-Ray combo pack, which was just recently released.
Now this pack was really perfect, especially for Halloween. It comes with the fun masks, which can be perfect for an easy costume, and the super fun collectible lunch pail, which can serve as the perfect trick or treating container, for kids.
Now, here is where the fun part comes in. If you're feel extra creative, and think you could pull it off, check out this absolutely AMAZING Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make-up tutorial:
Isn't that amazing? If you end up trying, or doing your own make-up, I'd LOVE to see your results!
Now, if you haven't seen the newest movie, Out of the Shadows, you're going to want to see it! We saw the first one last year, and we loved it! So we seriously could not wait to see this one. We were blown away, by the amazing graphics, and the fun, of the whole show.
Here is a little more about the film:
"Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael are back to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang."
It was seriously action packed, and just an all around great film! I would definitely recommend seeing both films, if you haven't already.
If you have already seen the films, and are looking for a bit of extra fun, you may also be interested in the downloadable TMNT Out of the Shadows activity book, which you can DOWNLOAD HERE for free.
This film is available for purchase, on Amazon (as well as in store.) And the lunchbox kit, which was featured in this review, is also available on Amazon HERE.
Have you seen the film yet, or do you have plans to?

My husband and I grew up loving Ninja Turtles, so it's been really fun to see our kids get into them, too! Don't get me wrong, I'll always have a soft spot for the original live-actions, but I totally see why our boys love the new ones. ;) That's some tutorial!
ReplyDeleteI love this. My kids would love this too and I'm glad there is a tutorial for it. I would need the instruction for sure.
ReplyDeleteI checked out the makeup tutorial. It's amazing, but I don't think I could pull it off. My son was always a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

ReplyDeleteWow, I wish I could do makeup as well as that. Such a well done Halloween costume.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I could pull that off, but I have a few friends who are very artistic, lol! My kids had ZERO face paint on them this year!
