My daughters and I have taken two weekend trips every summer for quite a while now. After ten straight years of going to an event in North Carolina over Memorial Day weekend, we sat it out this year. After 12 straight years of going to another event in Baltimore (dates varied between July and August), we aren't doing that one this year, either. Hopefully we'll be back to both next year. We've had family issues to deal with, plus just didn't have funds this year. So, my summer is going to be spent at home - taking time to play with and walk my dogs and hopefully finally getting some projects done I've been putting off.
